Day 4 - back to Tokyo. Poor Daisy wasn't feeling well. She was all bloated with airs in her tummy and the taxi ride downhill was not helping at all. Once again, thanks to Shirin, else, I will have my hands full with an ailing sister and elderly mum.
We took the limited express this time. And of course, with some drama beforehand! We got on the wrong cabin! We were so excited with the pink upholsteries that we did not thought to see the cabin number and just got on the very first available one. Just so the seat numbers tallied!
Can you imagine the last minute dash to get to Cabin 6 before the train left! And here's poor mummy and Daisy, all tired out after the mad dash :-p Otherwise, its a pleasant ride back to Tokyo. Time for Daisy to recuperate and be ready for shopping in Shibuya.
Rain, rain, rain! It's a wet,wet day! @#+//= Not fun trying to navigate around and going up and down the subways..... Finally found some decent girly stuffs near the station and its time to get back to the hotel to meet Steven. But at least Shirin got her sweet pinkie umbrella with white lace trimmings.Presenting Steven Fisher who so kindly and patiently waited almost 2 hours for us at the hotel. And here's the sumptious and entertaining dinner that he bought us. We had a great time, Thank You, Steven :-)Chef at work.Salad to start with...Shrimp SaluteChoice of seafood - shrimpSalmon orSquids.Main Course - beef for all of us and chicken for mummySuper fresh wasabi.. you grind them yourself! And Dessert! Look at the super fine thin strips of apples.. thats the way I will want my apples peeled in future! Am i asking too much?Shirin got us into the EL A EL A mood :-) We bought 10 umbrellas that day.
PS: She added 2 more Hello Kitty's umbrella the next day.
