Mother's Day in Advance

Image
CHile Con Carne with Smoked Sausage Is Mother's Day for me today. Yes, no kidding. My darling Bez not only made me breakfast this morning but also cooked dinner! Lucky me eh? Vickie and Daisy, are you jealous? Show your boys this blog. Good hint. My dear boy woke me this morning to tell me breakfast is ready. He made bacon, lettuce and cheese sandwich with mayo. Even thou I don't usually eat breakfast, but today I clean my plate! And if that is not enough to turn you green, he cooked Chile con Carne this evening.

Formula Drift

First time ever, Formula Drift in Singapore! Not that I am really a keen follower, but hey, for the boys' sake. I mean, look at silly Bez, he even kowtow to his dream car! And Javon couldn't stop drooling. And quoting his words, he got an erection simply by walking thru the car park. So even thou its scorching hot and I still have loads of unpacking and sorting out to do at home, this Sunday's outing was still worth it.

I'm Back!

Wow, we were without internet connection for 5 fully days! Finally got connected this morning. Felt so lost... so much to catch up, so much to share... First I'm now in my new abode. Moved in last Wednesday and still not done unpacking. New maid is not of much help. She doesn't know my stuffs and I need to be around to supervise all. Apart from that, there are several teething problems. But I'm sure those will be taken care of. But most ironically, my sofa and curtains are still not ready! How true the saying; cobbler's son have no shoes :-) But hey, we have fun too. Went to see We Will Rock YOu, the Musical by Queen and Ben Elton. It was simply awesome! Storyline based on year 2350 where Rock music are banned and kids rebel against GlobalSoft Corp which control thier lives. Hilarious and great dancing. Really got everyone on the feet. Highly recommended. Now Bez wants to get the Queen's album.

My Ear won't pop!

Yes, I am still waiting for my ear to pop... It's a horrible feeling. Around the time of my dad's funeral, I had this odd sensation that there is something fluttering inside my right ear. Like something moving inside. I couldn't get it out. I kept blowing my nose. U know, pinch your nose, swallow saliva etc.... I tried them all. It kind of pop for a while but never really clear. I thought maybe cos I cried too much and don't have enough sleep. From then on I had wet wax inside my right ear. Never before cos all my life i had dry wax. My brother suggested Waxsol. It helped for a while but soon again, it returns to haunt me. Got worse this time around. Especially since I got back from Tokyo. Must be the flying. I finally get around to go to the doctor today. I know i know, it take me a long time.. Should have went earlier.. but u know.... all the fear and excuses. Well, went to Toa Payoh Polyclinic today. Waited almost 2 hours! Doctor diagnosed chronic ear infec

A party for viewing our Tokyo video. A party for thanking Steven. A party for.... heck do we really need a reason to party? Heehee... not really we had a great time all the same

Seems like this is my signature dish now :-) This time i do it differently; i put it in empty Brand's essence bottles and little cups. Love the Brand's bottle, cos it's so cool. Jello shots in Brand's bottle. How ironic! Another lovely party at Dizi's... here's some cool fotos..

cucumber mask

Image
Heehee, is this literally "Green in Envy"? Nothing to envy about. Really, that's my cucumber mask. Got it from Watson. It's of course, cucumber and vitamin E. Initially I bought it for use inflight, cos flying is so drying! Can u imagine the scare I will give to the other passengers!!!! It's not costly. Cannot remember cos i bought other things with it. But definitely not more than $3.50. Too much in a packet. Probably cos my face is small. I've so much that I could even use it on my hands and my arms. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 3. Too messy. And yet, the result ain't too stunning. Probably need several applications but really don't like the mess. Still prefer the peel off mask and the tissue mask. Sk 2 would be even better!

back to work

back to work! Seriously back! look at the mess in my car. But cannot complain right, its my bread and butter. Heehee, look at it as savings for another trip. Really want to get back to Tokyo with my boys. I am sure BezWes will love it. But for right now, the BIG MOve . Man, so much details to look into. And so much technical stuffs too. Did you know that TV antennae or was it the SCV cables don't come with the tv that u bought? Also, do you know that you have like 3 or 4 different choice of finishes for your counter top in the bathroom? There are straight cut (not in jeans ok), bono or was it mono (don't understand uncle la). ... And all these were described to me over the phone. How am i to know what is what! Thought I am a Phua Chu Kang! Seems like i am still not qualified. Oh yes, than there is this parade of guys coming to my house yesterday. Man, i really feel like a queenbee yesterday. Just camped myself at the new flat from morning and throughout the day, I have

Day 5 - Harajuku, KiddyLand!

Image
As always, weather on your last day of vacation has to be the best. It's a lure to bring you back! Added bonus this time around is our dear dear Steven. Apart from babysitting mummy, he carried our bags, our foldable chair and even take pictures too! Where have u been hiding all along, Steven! Waiting patiently for us outside KiddyLand in Harajuku. See mummy no longer had to guard luggage by herself. See an umbrella that matches her dress! See who we run into along the street. Its not even weekends and they were out on the street. This guy is actually out distributing flyers for a weekend gig. He is from Hollywood, Los Angeles. And here's our bling bling calculators.. so handy. Should never travel without it! Wow, 5 days just slipped by. It's been great fun, wonderful weather in Hakone and yummy yummy food. And lots of cute guys too! We are converted! We need to be doing this again real soon! PS : Came back with so much loose coins I think that's reason enough t

Day 4 - back to Tokyo. Poor Daisy wasn't feeling well. She was all bloated with airs in her tummy and the taxi ride downhill was not helping at all. Once again, thanks to Shirin, else, I will have my hands full with an ailing sister and elderly mum. We took the limited express this time. And of course, with some drama beforehand! We got on the wrong cabin! We were so excited with the pink upholsteries that we did not thought to see the cabin number and just got on the very first available one. Just so the seat numbers tallied! Can you imagine the last minute dash to get to Cabin 6 before the train left! And here's poor mummy and Daisy, all tired out after the mad dash :-p Otherwise, its a pleasant ride back to Tokyo. Time for Daisy to recuperate and be ready for shopping in Shibuya. Rain, rain, rain! It's a wet,wet day! @#+//= Not fun trying to navigate around and going up and down the subways..... Finally found some decent girly stuffs near the station and its tim
