June is indeed a very busy month. "Ema's hotel" is running a full house. First it was the Teo's family. They stayed for an entire week or was it more? Lost track. And when i said family, it is really the entire family, including Joleen the dog and Hammie the hamster. Right after they "checked out", Ben arrived from Texas. And the next day Leonn came in. Between them they stayed for over 2 weeks. Finally the house is quiet now. Then to finish off the month, Ray dropped by for a surprise visit too. Well he did not checked into Jann's hotel but rather to M Hotel with his dad. Brought them to Botanical Gardens for lunch. Did not get to meet Ann, Ray's girlfriend as she is working that day. Ben enjoying his Katong Laksa and Kopi see. And the Singapore's heat of course! Ray and Ken with their crab mutabak, roti John.

Got this BB Cream from the same place I got the pink shoes. AKASH in Square 2. This LOTREE BB cream, with SPF21 cost $53 and she gave me a travel pack together with a Pear Glossy Triple Base. The base is pretty neat. It shimmers. BB cream is kind of "thin" compared to the other one from Skin Food. But according to the sales lady, that is because it has moisturiser in it already. Well, with either one, i still need to use a concealer for my brown spots.

hey, yes i'm blowing my trumpet again. And yes, its bragging. But hey u will brag if you are in my shoes. Picture this.....normal Friday, TGIF, i take the afternoon off to go for my facial/massage.. .. then, i come home, have a beer by the bar and play some pools with Wesley; And inhale, nice aroma. Bez had dinner in the oven.... not just your run in the mill type of dinner. Its Five Spices Beef with Fragrant Brown Rice. Served with Caesar's salad. You can smell it in the air. oh Yes, he substitutes five spices with italian spices. Even better. How can a mother be so lucky! Sorry Ben, u luck out! He even get to "togo" some for Kenneth. Kenneth, say Thank you! One day he will probably togo for his girlfriend. And when that day comes, all my dear friends, please make sure and please remind me not to be a Monster IN Law!!!!!!

Oh it felt so good to indulge! Afterall I am doing a good deed too; Look at it as my contribution to boost the ailing economy. Seriously, it's been a while that I last bought a good bag. Anyway, why am I making up excuses? I DESERVE IT :-) I was contemplating on another one that was on sale, but a older collection, with lots of blings and buckles. Then I saw this. Hot Pink. It comes with a smaller version. But with that, i will probably need another bag to hold the rest of my junk. Not as functional. Maybe can consider the matching wallets and purse. But of course that is over indulge right? afterall i have my all time faithful Ferragamo that has serve me well. Oh well, maybe a pink shoes now :-)

2 super red, succulent strawberries and 1 orange. Cut it up and freeze it for an hour. Add aloe vera - super healthy! Add honey. Blend it and wala! Yummy delicious daiquiri is ready. Virgin thou. For those above 18 add a shot of rum and omit the honey And trust me, It's simply awesome! And what make this even more delicious is that it is prepared for me by my dear Bez! His special concoction, though i don't think he realise that it is quite like a daiquiri without the alcohol :-) I know I am bragging again, but really I think his future girlfriends will be very lucky cos he is cute, smart and he can cook! He plays the guitar too. But of course not forgetting he can be pretty boring, preferring to spend most of the time in front of the computer. And forgetful and not very organise. LOL

Yes, no kidding... Onion bread! my first from my Kenwood breadmaker. Will try a raisin or fruits tomorrow. And yes I paint too... my first in after donkey years! The last time I painted was back in school! But it was fun. It was a great feeling.. to add on that brush strokes. Especially at the end of it where you start to give it some dimension by shading it. Boy I really enjoy painting. I think i will do a piece on fruits for my dining room. LOL And what a way to end Friday the 13th! With 4 margaritas. Yummy

Gold Class - that's the way to go man! It's like going on business class. Great movie, great company and great experience. Thank you Rachael and Shirin for suggesting it. And Rachael, thank you so much for booking the tickets online. You know its such great fun to dress up for a movie. To feel so excited about a movie outing. Seems to lost that for a while. Isn't that what life is all about? I am so thankful to have girlfriends like you all to spice up my life. You are my Spice Girls! I really enjoyed it. Though I have to agree with Daisy, the next time around I will rather go easy on the dining cos the service disrupted the movie. And it's such a shame that they got Shirin's order mixed up and here we are, Daisy and me wondering why our platter is so humongous. HOw silly of us That aside, the movie itself is really entertaining. You have to know the series to enjoy it. Wonder if they will do a sequel or maybe a Desperate Housewives movie?

June 8 - started to prepare the food as early as 9am! Phew! have never undertake the task of cooking for almost 50 pax! And to top it off, I am so daring as to include mostly finger food for the party. It's really a great challenge. But, hey, its all well worth it. Not too sure if the food tasted yummy cos by evening, I lost all sense of taste and i was so excited that I barely ate anything. Usual for a party. But the least i can say is that there isn't much left over. Now, was that a good sign or was it insufficient food? Hahaha... Great Singapore Sale! It's a sin not to indulge.. See what i got today.. Daisy will love this pink dress. And guess what, it's only $10! And this top for only $12. I love Singapore :-) And Jaslyn, i went back to get this shoe. Got a size bigger so it does not hurt this time. Now I'm ready for Sex & the City.

Gee, time flies... seems like just yesterday that we celebrate Shirin's birthday at TCC in Clarke Quay. Well this year she does it the Shirin's way, in great style.. I mean a 3 days celebration! Who else can pull it off except our sweet Shirin :-) We start off with Friday Happy hour at Morton, where Rachael gave her this SUPER BLING! Guess what, it's a lip balm. Then the next evening, we went to GastroBar at Keppel Bay Marina. Neat little place.. pretty cosy except for the humidity. I was burning up. And the mixed cocktails were kind of weak. They ought to be a little more generous with their alcohol. But nevertheless, we have fun. Its not just the place but the companies that count. Sexy lingerie just the thing for Shirin. Probably Alvin should thank me instead. And Dom after a few drinks.. And here's Dom again after yet a few more drinks.... Sexy legs Not sexy Legs! Sprained but still sexy legs.
