Shirin's birthday bash

Gee, time flies... seems like just yesterday that we celebrate Shirin's birthday at TCC in Clarke Quay. Well this year she does it the Shirin's way, in great style.. I mean a 3 days celebration! Who else can pull it off except our sweet Shirin :-)We start off with Friday Happy hour at Morton, where Rachael gave her this SUPER BLING! Guess what, it's a lip balm.
Then the next evening, we went to GastroBar at Keppel Bay Marina. Neat little place.. pretty cosy except for the humidity. I was burning up. And the mixed cocktails were kind of weak. They ought to be a little more generous with their alcohol. But nevertheless, we have fun. Its not just the place but the companies that count.

Sexy lingerie just the thing for Shirin. Probably Alvin should thank me instead.

Strawberry Orange Daiquiri, Anyone?

2 super red, succulent strawberries and 1 orange. Cut it up and freeze it for an hour. Add aloe vera - super healthy! Add honey. Blend it and wala! Yummy delicious daiquiri is ready. Virgin thou. For those above 18 add a shot of rum and omit the honey And trust me, It's simply awesome! And what make this even more delicious is that it is prepared for me by my dear Bez! Halloween

I know it's still a long way... few more months but Bez already got me excited. He come up with this theme party for Halloween.. Musical Theme. U come dress as your favorite artiste... or anything that represents your favorite genre. He of course will be Slash. But sorry no budget for leather jacket. Any sponsor? Anyone can loan him one? Mummy is not ready to spend a fortune for a nite of fancy. Jared says he will be the Michael Jackson, the older version and Javon the young MJ. And it's unanimously agreed that Wesley be Rick Asley! Lol.... he loves to rick roll everyone. Daisy can be Dolly Parton. And myself, Dor suggested the 881 - the Papaya sister. LOL.. maybe Daisy can be Papaya sister with me... Let's drape ourselves with boa and trinklets. Alex's favorite is Engelbert Humperdick and Alvin says he will come as KISS - leather outfits, white face and lightning slash across. Qimei, Penghu, Nov 2017

This is my second visit to Qimei, one of the islands of Penghu. Rarely will I visit a place twice in a row (just been there last year); there's just so many places to visit and so little time and $$$ to do so.  So why Qimei? It's remote, with only one post office, one Seven Eleven, no shopping malls, one petrol station that only opens during the day and a long winding road that goes around the island. No traffic light, there's no need for one. But this is why I fall in love with Qimei!  Its unspoilt charm and beauty make it the perfect place to chill! Now Qimei is not always that quiet. During summer, this island is a popular lures for surfers.  November is quiet. Not much visitors, not even the locals.. except for a few crazy us.  Once again we checked into this little B&B Homestay called  鶵鳥藝文空間    I've attended a B&W Photography workshop here last year.
