Partly inspired by Dom's banoffee's pie. Took a walk to the nearby RiverVale Mall to buy bananas and condensed milk after reading his blog.. But the bananas over there looks pretty much like those that Dom bought before going to NZ.. So it's a tub of chocolate ice cream instead. And straight off the tub.. thats the way the boys would eat it. Of course with popo exclaiming; "eating in the bedroom!!!!!!!!!!"

Birthday means eat, drink and be merry.... And that's the way it is for lucky me with so many wonderful friends and sisters. First to come, my special "Cashmere Mafia".... lunch at International Seafood in the old Big Splash location in East Coast Parkway. Yummy and value for your money. So good that I suggested this same restaurant when Nancy bought me lunch on Friday. It's a ala carte buffet with 40 different dishes and a dessert spread to choose from. And that include sharksfin soup and abalone too..... Did not count how many different dishes the super aunties did but probably not as much as when we went back with Alex and Daisy. We ate so much and when last tally, only managed 17 out of the 40 dishes! And according to the waitress, no one had yet managed to sample all 40 dishes in one seating. Maximum was by 2 couples and that were 32 dishes out of 40. And all these for $22 per pax. American Express got an additional 10% off. This is what i called Value for ...

Yet more fotos from last nite came in... Was just on facebook and it seemed that at this late hours, everyone had finally somewhat recovered from last nite's hangover n just about getting all the lovely fotos from last nite into facebook. Photos from my camera did not turn up too good. Just like my present vision ... lol.. So luckily u guys took great fotos. And thank you Shirin for that photo of my 5kg Turkey. And in order not to waste all the open up bottles... I am still drinking now! Found 2 almost full bottles of Red, one 1/4 full Alize, a wimp bit Vodka and 1/2 bottle of Merlot Rose in the kitchen this morning. Oh not to mention a whole bowl of Wine PUnch from Jaslyn...(the guy who finished to the last drop the last time you made it for my housewarming party wasn't here last nite). Send a pitcher over to Daisy, along with some turkey of course. Used up the 1/2 bottle of Merlot Rose to cook turkey linguine for dinner and I am still drinking now.... Not being alcoholi...

Carrot, lemongrass, bunches of celery and whole onions were stuffed into the turkey before roasting. Cooking the stuffing from scratch.
